DAIRY STUDY: SOMATIC CELL REDUCTION
Somatic cell study was done on 26 chronic high somatic cows. Thirteen cows were gate cut for the study group and 13 for the control group. Entry level testing conducted on 8/21/2003: the control group had beginning average SCC of 1,854,811 and the treatment group had beginning SCC of 2,374,000. Cows in the control group received standard protocols during the 60-day time period. Treated cows received one ounce of Ramaekers RB daily for three days on and three days off for three cycles – a total of nine treatments. SCC testing was again performed on 9/18/2003: The control group experienced an increase of 10.5% while the treatment group experienced a decrease of 59.7% -- a 70.2% improvement in somatic cell counts over the control group. Nine of the treated cows returned to production while only one control cow recovered after heavy medication.

COLORADO NATURAL BEEF FIELD STUDY
Study was conducted on black angus steers from the Northwestern United States (Oregon to Eastern Colorado). Study calves were administered Ramaekers RB by bolus on day 1 and then product was delivered in the feed on days 2,3,4 and 12. Weights, morbidity and mortality were recorded 30 days later. The results revealed a 1.2 pound per day advantage for the treated calves; in addition to a 90% reduction in morbidity. The control group experienced 12 deaths due to bovine respiratory disease compared with 0 deaths among the 380 treated calves.

OHIO SALE BARN STUDY
Study performed on no-bid calves purchased from 200 mile surrounding area. Weight, death loss and treatment data was collected weekly for 18 months. Calves were mass treated with up to five different antibiotics over the course of the study (ranging from Micotil, A180 to Penicillin.)
Ramaekers RB was administered to the treatment group calves adjunctively with processing on days 1,2,3 and 12. No deaths were reported for the treatment group due to Bovine Respiratory Disease. Prior to the study, mortality averages were over 30% (for the same type of cattle.)

CALF STRESS REDUCTION STUDY 2005
Twelve head of local sale barn calves (singles ranging from 350 to 511 pounds) were evaluated in a 60 day study. Four non-castrated bull calves and eight heifers were bought and transported to the local veterinarian for processing. Six calves were gate cut for the treatment group and six for the control group. All calves received mass antibiotics of Dura penn. Calves were wormed, castrated, etc. The six calves in the treatment group received Ramaekers Stress Formula on days 1, 2, 3 and 12. Blood samples were taken am and pm on days 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 12 and sent to a pathology lab to test cortisol, T4 and insulin.
The results revealed a 46% reduction in cortisol levels for the treated calves compared with controls. Diurnal rhythm was improved 43%, T4 function was improved 28% by day 5.
At 60 days, the treatment calves had a 60 pound advantage per head over the control calves.

SWINE STUDY: NATURAL PIG OPERATION
A swine study was conducted on 300 sows at a natural pig operation. All pigs were raised naturally with no antibiotics or vaccines. Ramaekers Livestock Formula was administered on day 5 and 6 before breeding and increased conception from 88% to 96%. Ramaekers Livestock Formula was administered to pregnant sows 21 and 7 days before farrowing and increased litter size from an average of 10.7 pigs for controls to an average of 11.2 pigs per liter for the treated sows. Death loss for the control group was 12.17% compared to 2.7% for the treatment group.
In a separate study conducted at the same all-natural pig operation, 599 sows were randomly assigned to a control group and 619 sows were randomly assigned to a treatment group. The treatment group received Ramaekers Livestock Formula. No pigs received antibiotics or vaccines. The treatment group pigs on the Ramaekers Formula Program had a final weight advantage of 14.7 pounds compared with controls.
