14-year-old Quarter horse

History:

The owners of this horse have been battling fistulous withers for 3 YEARS!! Two other veterinarians have been unsuccessful at treating this horse. There was a large area of exudative dermatitis over the left supraspinatus area.

Therapy:

Traditional therapy involves complete dissection of the affected and surrounding tissues, which leads to prolonged recovery times and significant expense.
