Osteosarcoma Bone Cancer
I am writing to thank Dr. Bill Burlingame for all the advice and help he gave me to get my dog Ty and myself through a very tough time after his diagnosis of Osteosarcoma Bone Cancer.
In June 2010, Ty was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma Bone Cancer in his left rear leg. My primary Vet, Dr. Sands, is located at Heron Lakes Animal Hospital in Coral Springs, Florida, and suggested we put Ty on the Professional Veterinary Immune Powder and Tabs targeted for cancer. During this treatment, Dr. Burlingame and I, along with Dr. Sands, were in constant contact to ensure Ty was getting the best possible care and the proper dosage, along with his other supplements and medications.
Ty's immune system was significantly compromised due to cancer. The Vet tabs significantly improved his chances by strengthening his immune system to fight this dreaded disease. The Vet tabs also help considerably with the pain associated with his cancer. As cancer progressed, Ty, unfortunately, had to have his leg amputated in Dec. of 2010, but we still kept up with the Vet immune tabs. Surgery alone also compromised the immune system, so it was imperative to keep him on this treatment.
Ty did very well until cancer got the best of him, and on April 3, 2011, he peacefully went over the Rainbow Bridge.
I believe Ty wouldn't have lasted as long as he did without the tremendous support he got from Dr. Sands and Dr. Burlingame and how they worked together for the best dog in the world.… My dog Ty.
Thank you,
Janet and Ty
