Transfer Factor For Canines
Many years ago, I had a dog with thrombocytopenia (thrombocytopenia is a decrease in the number of blood platelets, also known as thrombocytes, circulating in the blood.) He was on high doses of prednisone (prednisone is used for treating a broad range of medical conditions in dogs. Vets prescribe it as an immunosuppressant and/or anti-inflammatory medicine), and it took years to wean him slowly off the meds while keeping his platelet count in the proper range.
